Awakening of the Femininity
Modern western culture dictates us a new rules where the emphasis is on efficiency and productivity and their outcome. As a result, expression of the femininity as ultimate model that consciously expressed and celebrated has declined and practically disappeared.
A lot of women our days are ashamed and feeling guilty to show their sensuality because of stigma that comes with femininity manifestation. In my personal experience, it takes a courage to deal with sexually inappropriate, jealous, disapproving looks or comments on the daily basis.
The prominence of the male qualities such as competitiveness and dominance resulted in women’s vital and essential natures being devalued in order to suppress any hints of femininity rather than experience it as the very source of life itself (Mies 1986).
In order to fight with tendencies to imitate male qualities and having best possible quality of life, women have to cultivate their femininity.
I have learned the techniques of ecstatic dance from renowned gurus and would love to share my knowledge to awaken the wildest and most authentic feminine powers in you. The program I have personally created based on different schools of dance and revolves around free-form intuitive movement, which is primarily self-guided, with few, if any, steps to follow.
Instructors provide you a safe environment for self-expression, specific techniques as a starting point for creativity, and ongoing encouragements such as: ‘Move your body; free your mind’; ‘It’s a lifestyle’; ‘Your way is the right way’; and ‘You can’t get it wrong’.
Using a mix of contemporary, rhythmic music with pronounced ‘beats’ and/or ‘waves’ throughout each song, the dance incorporates a number of sensual dance moves and sequences designed to allow each participant to reawaken and the powerful and sensual parts of herself. Sensual movement dance consist of specific types of moves such as hip rolls (circles), sensual shoulder movements, and slow movements punctuated with more angular, outward expression. The dance also includes a style incorporating smaller, more inward ‘shy’ and ‘demure’ movement, along with movement that is larger, literally taking up more space and expressed emphatically and boldly.
Dance elements
To further enhance the unique creative expression of each participant, the physical exploration of movement is enhanced) enriched with the use of ‘props’ (such as wall dance and sensual movement using scarves, veils, canes, body bands, etc.) The use of props is extremely effective in providing a fun and effortless way for participants to experience different parts of themselves. Sensual movement and dance is created by actually feeling desire to move.
Letting yourself express your inner longings and using your instincts to move your body will allow you to feel liberated. You will remember that sense of freedom that will allow you to be fearless in your regular life.
